I am not using a DMZ.Īlso, since I can still log on to my SF from outside of the network and see the apps, I assume all of my external DNS and client auto-configure stuff is still OK with the NS in place. I have only a single LAN behind my firewall and all of my servers are on it. Could you possibly explain what exactly the subnet address is (it asks for this during initial setup) and what the heck I'm supposed to use there? The diagram here doesn't make much sense to me. I have my NetScaler running and licensed and all that good stuff. So after reading through the links you provided and a few other things online, I still have a few questions. It's been very frustrating and humbling experience. I just gotta say that I've done a lot of implementations, upgrades and migrations in my career but nothing has had me stumped as much as this XenApp install. Ya know, I'm not the smartest guy in the world but I don't think I'm a complete idiot either. If I get some time I'll try to throw together a Storefront in the next few days so I can see the config better. So, are you setting up seperate sites for the internal / external configurations?

You'll have different settings for external sites than you will for internal sites. I'm sure that Storefront is going to be simular in this respect. Thus I needed a different site for internal since those settings are not the same. For instance when I created my WI external site some settings that I selected are specific for connecting it to the Access Gateway. Thus I either push all traffic (internal and external) through the Netscaler OR have a seperate site for internal and external. I don't use Storefront (not yet at least) and only use Web Interface, but with WI the settings are different for the site setup for external and internal. I must be missing a step somewhere but I'm not sure where.Įxternal - You'll need to put a rule in your firewall so that your pointing towards the Netscaler's Access Gateway Virtual IP address. That must be the cause of my issue but there does not appear to be anywhere to change this. When I launched the SF console and poked around the settings, under, "Receiver for Web", I can see my website and under "Access", it says, "Internal networks only". I have one VM running StoreFront 2.1.0.17 and another VM running XenApp 6.5. There is no Citrix XenApp server configured on the specified address." Contact your help desk with the following information: cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server. I could bring up the SF site and log on and see all of my published apps but when I clicked on any of them, I got a message saying, "Unable to launch your application. When I got home this evening, I went to test it out and found that it was not working from outside of my network. I published some apps and everything was great.

When I was at work today I was able to log on from the Receiver client on my laptop, the web/Store Front interface and the Receiver app on my iPad.
